Since COVID-19, Peter Thomas of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra began performing with his cello on multiple driveways throughout his neighborhood. The hope was to bring people together safely to enjoy a free outdoor concert for all ages. The performances created a lot of buzz and so Peter decided to create a music series called MusiConnect with the help of Steve and Thea Vorass. Together, they began bringing music of all genres to different communities in the greater Milwaukee area and beyond all summer of 2020. We're not sure what the future holds for live music events but we plan to continue the series this year (2021) and can't wait to bring more incredible artists to your driveways!

Q: When will future shows be posted?

Some shows are planned weeks ahead of time and some are scheduled days before. Part of the fun and excitement of our series is that they function as pop-up concerts. That being said, we'll let our mailing list subscribers know the first thing as soon as a performer and location are confirmed. This information will also be posted on our website (here) as well as our Facebook page.

Q: Should I bring anything?

We encourage you to bring folding chairs or a blanket as well as drinks and or snacks to enjoy during the performance. We try to remember to bring bug spray with us to pass out but sometimes forget, so we do encourage you to bring some spray for when the skeeters get bad. If you'd like to tip the performers, you can bring cash, otherwise, we accept Venmo.
